Immediate Media Co revamps Top of the Pops magazine

The UK’s best-selling teen title, Top of the Pops magazine, published by Immediate Media Co, has undergone a revamp. The new-look issue, on sale 20 June 2012 and still priced at £2.99 has a fresh, sophisticated new design, upgraded paper and brighter colours.

Editorially, the magazine will reinforce its position as the best place for readers to get the latest gossip on their favourite pop bands and celebrities. Readers can also enjoy the expanded fashion section, offering more useful tips and step-by-step guidance, as well as the latest shopping news.

Martin Stahel, Associate Publisher, said: “The teen sector is really important to the magazine market and this redesign will make the best teen title even better. It’s also perfectly timed for retailers to capitalise on the seasonal sales increase over the forthcoming summer holidays.”
Lara Hutcheson, Deputy Editor of Top of the Pops magazine said: “We’re thrilled to reveal the exciting makeover of Top of the Pops magazine. With a host of brand new features and an edgier design, we’ve given readers even more of what they want most – exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to their favourite celebrities and a stronger focus on fashion. It’s fresh, vibrant and we know our readers will love it.”
