Cineworld Magazine for iPad
Cineworld wanted to reach out to an audience of digitally savvy, frequent film-goers, building their reputation as a trusted source of movie information. So in 2012, we developed and launched a free, monthly film magazine for the iPad. Funded largely by distributor advertising, the iPad edition is a newsstand-quality film magazine for real enthusiasts, which delves deeper into the movies and makes the most of the iPad’s interactive features. Its huge appeal to readers has already been reflected in a clutch of industry awards.

Cineworld Magazine for iPad is a finalist in the 2013 Digital Magazine Awards in four categories; Editor of the Year, Designer of the Year, TV, Film & Entertainment Magazine of the Year and Customer Magazine of the Year. The awards take place on 26/11/13.
Cineworld Magazine - Digital Edition
The only magazine of its kind in the marketplace, Unlimited Digital is sent out to over 640,000 subscribers each month, keeping them up-to-date with the latest blockbusters and indie flicks. Great editorial, video and interactive content informs and inspires, meaning subscribers remain actively engaged every month.
Cineworld Avengers Assemble Facebook Campaign
Cineworld asked us to produce an engaging Facebook application to create excitement around the release of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble in UK cinemas. The application had to uniquely align the film with Cineworld in order to encourage users to go and see the movie in their theatres, allowing them to book tickets directly from the page. The campaign needed to be supported by distinctive point-of-sale and magazine content.
We created a two-phase campaign called Cineworld Avengers Assemble.
Phase 1: Four weeks before release we developed a Facebook application that enabled users to ‘bring Hollywood home’ by voting for a local cinema to host one of five regional premieres of the film, and sharing their vote with their friends. We tracked how successful users were in sharing, with the most successful sharer winning tickets to the London red carpet premiere!
Phase 2: Two weeks before release we developed a game which encouraged users to join their own regional Avengers team. Each team had its own Facebook page, and users could score points for their team by engaging in content and playing games. Regional winners were rewarded with a Cineworld Unlimited card, with the overall winner receiving a home entertainment system.

Our campaign helped Cineworld to be the number one exhibitor at box office for the opening weekend.
We create engaging content for Cineworld.co.uk including informative film synopses plus a variety of fun and interactive weekly film quizzes for audience engagement and sharing through Cineworld’s social media channels.
We also manage content delivery for Cineworld’s YouTube channel including creating fun videos which showcase film releases in a different and humorous way.

The latest addition to the Cineworld portfolio is Shortcuts, the monthly e-newsletter for Cineworld subscribers which provides an engaging roundup of the best films hitting the Cineworld screens. The e-newsletter also includes an exclusive interview and offers and promotions to entice and engage the recipient.
