LEGO ® is a classic toy and a business fairy-tale, growing from a Danish workshop in 1934 to a beloved global megabrand. The LEGO Club print magazine is a hugely popular bi-monthly title, read by a dedicated following of 6-12-year-olds around the world.

The Brief

We were tasked with taking the magazine digital, in order to create an enhanced experience for existing readers and potential new fans. We used our expertise in animation, game design and digital magazine publication to bring the existing LEGO Club pages to life. The result is a fully interactive page-turner, packed with activities, challenges, sounds and comics that explore the vast LEGO world.

2D cartoons become animated stories, paper puzzles become online games, and passive graphics roar into life across the screen. The extra features included within the digital magazine keep the online version fresh for those that have already read the print version, while also whetting the appetite of the digital reader encouraging them to check out the extended version in print.

The LEGO® Club Digital Magazine is our biggest global project to date, rolling out to territories including the UK, Germany, France, USA, the Netherlands and French – and English-speaking Canada.

Building Blocks of Success
