MISTER MAKER MAGAZINE HITS THE NEWSSTAND EXTENDING INTEREST IN TOP RATED CBEEBIES SHOW

Immediate Media Co, the special interest and content company, has launched Mister Maker Magazine, a brand extension of the top rated show on the CBeebies channel.

Mister Maker magazine is produced by Immediate’s award-winning youth and children’s editorial team and capitalises on the growing interest in Mister Maker products amongst children. Filled with amazing minute makes, bigger special projects, and lots of art tips; the new title will follow the format of the show, encouraging children to get creative.

The BAFTA Award winning show sees Mister Maker showing children how to make lots of amazing things using easy-to-find resources from the ‘doodle drawers’ or a craft shop.

The magazine is the first preschool magazine to use Blippar technology and Alex Nicoll of Blippays says:

The first issue features a free Scrappz sock puppet and special neon stickers. The magazine retails at £3.75, 13 issues a year, with 80,000 copies of issue one printed hitting newsstands on 30th July. The launch will be supported with an amazing competition giving Mini Makers a chance to win an art day with Mister Maker. The Mister Maker TV show was launched in January 2007.
