Immediate continues to grow its digital reach

Immediate, home to trusted brands that people love, posted a combined print and digital circulation of 777,841 for reporting titles January-December 2025.

  • Immediateโ€™s ABC audited digital circulation is 132,844, up 2.4% year-on-year.
  • Immediateโ€™s ABC audited print circulation is 644,997, down -11.2% year-on-year, with 99.9% of its circulation actively purchased.

Immediateโ€™s brands are market-leaders in the majority of categories they operate in, including Food, Gardening, and History.

Remaining strong on the newsstand, Immediate continues to grow its subscriptions base, with 1.2m subscribers in total (across all audited and unaudited brands) and over 767,00o digital app subs, up 17.5% year-on-year, as it further expands its digital content offer across apps, video, web and audio.

Immediate 2025 ABCs:

BBC Gardenersโ€™ World magazine

  • BBC Gardenersโ€™ World magazine, the UKโ€™s number one gardening magazine brand in the paid market, posted a combined circulation of 176,718, down -8.4%year-on-year, with average digital sales of 11,897 down 8.1% year-on-year.
  • BBC Gardenersโ€™ Worldโ€™s Magazine May issue, featuring its 2for1 Gardens to Visit Guide remains the biggest revenue making monthly magazine on the newsstand, generating ยฃ1.3m in RSV. In 2025 the 2for1 app received 100,000 downloads.

HistoryExtra Magazineย 

  • HistoryExtra Magazine, the UKโ€™s leading history title, posted a combined circulation of 113,761, down -1.1% year-on-year.
  • Historyโ€™s digital circulation grew by 9.3% to 61,109.
  • HistoryExtra has continued to grow its digital reach, with almost 140,000 YouTube subscribers (up 229% y-o-y) and over 33m engaged minutes on Apple News in 2025.

Good Food magazineย 

  • Good Food is the UKโ€™s biggest food media brand, posting a combined circulation of 115,177, down -14% year-on-year.
  • Good Foodโ€™s digital circulation was 19,985, down by -5.9%.
  • The Good Food app grew its paid subscribers by 7% in 2025 to over 173,000.

Olive

  • Olive posted a combined circulation of 32,634 down -5.4% year-on-year.
  • Olive recorded a digital circulation of 19,017 down -0.5% year-on-year.
  • olive relaunched in October 2025, with a new premium look and a broader editorial offer, travel and wellbeing, alongside food and drink. Newsstand sales of its December issue were up 20% year-on-year and RSV up by 74%.

Radio Times

  • Radio Times, the UKโ€™s best-selling weekly quality magazine and the largest weekly subscription title posted a combined circulation of 307,129, down -10% year-on-year.ย  Radio Timesโ€™ digital circulation rose by 12.1% in 2025, to 12,198.
  • Radio Times Christmas double issue is the largest revenue-grossing single issue in the UK, generating over ยฃ5.2M RSV (Retail Sales Value), on the newsstand.
  • Radio Times continues attract audiences across multiple platforms, in 2025 Radio Times social content had over 150m video views (up 61% increase y-o-y), with 12.5million view on YouTube.
