12 month fixed term contract
Immediate is home to some of the biggest and most loved consumer brands in the UK, including Radio Times, Good Food and BBC Gardeners World magazine. Our trusted, quality content reaches millions of people a month across digital, print, video, podcasts, apps and live events.
We’re the destination for people looking to get more from the things they love. We’re here to inspire, fuel, encourage and educate.

About the role
We are looking for a commercially savvy Content Coordinator/Assistant to join our Commercial Growth team, working across our leading food title, Good Food.
This role is pivotal in driving revenue through digital and interactive content, connecting our food and health-conscious readers with the best products and innovations in the kitchenware and wellness spaces.
In this role, you’ll combine product-testing, reviewing and an understanding of affiliate marketing, with helping transform our reviews hubs to be more interactive, engaging and user-focused.
Whether it’s using AI to streamline testing processes or creating new interactive quizzes or comparison tables on which coffee machine to buy, what you build will help readers make smarter choices — while delivering commercial value for Good Food.
This role reports to the Affiliates Lead within the Commercial Growth Team and works closely with brand leads and editors.
As a Content Coordinator/Assistant you will;
- Test and build new interactive elements across site that encourage engagement, answering key consumer questions and drive affiliate revenue.
- Mapping out and automating the product review processes to make them more efficient, with a real focus on using AI to do this.
- Write engaging, accurate, and SEO-optimised articles that feature or review appliances, cookware and health products against consistent testing criteria.
- Stay on top of emerging products and wellness trends, and pitch ideas for timely and relevant content.
- Work with the wider commercial and affiliate teams to identify high-performing product content opportunities and use performance data (e.g. clicks, sales) to refine and optimise content.
- Support the Affiliates Lead to plan content around key retail moments (e.g. January, Black Friday etc).
- Build relationships with PRs to secure product samples and insights.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in health, food, kitchen appliances and/or cookware products and trends.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Willingness to explore how AI can help streamline or automate processes.
- Knowledge of affiliate marketing or commerce content.
- Familiar with SEO for digital content.
- Ability to balance editorial integrity with commercial objectives.
- A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to test, learn, and grow in a fast-paced digital publishing environment.
Benefits
- A relaxed working environment with regular socials including a summer festival
- Supportive well-being initiatives and benefits, talks & workshops, and Mental Health First aiders & Champions
- 25 days holiday plus a day for your birthday. Our offices will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s which are in addition to your annual entitlement
- Tailored training and development through both our inhouse learning platform and LinkedIn Learning
- A progressive and transparent culture focused on your development
- Flexible / hybrid working plus early finish Fridays
- Cycle to work scheme
- Enhanced Family Policies including paternity, adoption and surrogacy leave. We also provide a pregnancy loss, fertility, and carers policy
- Competitive pension plans and Life Assurance
- A newly renovated modern office with lots of collaborative spaces
