Good Food launches new Rising Star Awards
Monday 16 September 2024
Good Food, the UK’s number one food media brand today (Monday 16 September) announced the launch of the first Good Food Rising Stars 2024, a nationwide search for unsung home cooks who love creating recipes and being in front of the camera.
The inaugural UK-wide competition is designed to uncover talented food content creators who can inspire others with their original recipes and passion for cooking and storytelling. The winner, plus four runners-up, will gain experience as food content creators getting the opportunity to partner with Good Food, and the winner will receive all the equipment they need to become a top-level creator at home.
“Good Food Rising Stars will showcase people across the UK who are passionate about food and who love to share their recipes and enthusiasm for cooking with others. The finalists will be at our Good Food Winter Live Show in November, and we hope everyone will be inspired by their stories. If you cook fantastic meals full of flavours and have recipes that friends and family love, please get filming and send in your video entry to Good Food Rising Stars, it could be your springboard to culinary success!”
Cassie Best, Head of Food, Good Food
All entries will be reviewed by the Good Food panel of expert judges, and eight finalists will be mentored and invited to cook live for the Good Food team. One winner and four runners up will be declared with the winner receiving filming and kitchen equipment, and the chance to have their recipes showcased by Good Food. In addition, the winner will take part in a Q&A on the Let’s Talk Good Food Stage at the Good Food Live Winter Show in November.
