Immediate celebrates three wins at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards

Immediate Media Co, the special interest content and platform company, celebrated a hattrick of wins at the AOP (Association of Online Publishers) Digital Publishing Awards, on Wednesday, 14 June.
Immediateโs Food Editorial team won Editorial Team of the Year for their work across BBC Good Food and olive, with the judgeโs commending their success at building audience engagement โthrough their successful use of TikTok, through upskilling the team in creating video, and by capturing the zeitgeist with their focus on the cost-of-living crisis.โ
BBC Good Food won the prestigious Grand Prix Award for Best Online Brand, with the judgeโs praising their โsmart and considered approach, listening to audience trends to deliver content that resonates with impressive commercial resultsโ.
Immediate also collected the Employer Excellence Award, recognising Immediateโs commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment for its employees. The judges said:
โThe jury were impressed by Immediateโs clear recognition of the critical importance of learning, development, and mentoring โ and earning 4th place in the Glassdoor Employee Choice Awards is a strong accolade suggesting they must be getting something right!โ.
Immediateโs Podcast Team were Highly Commended in the Best Use of Audio category, with the judges adding: โImmediate have demonstrated a robust and impressive audio strategy that is growing from strength-to-strength with impressible financial resultsโ
The AOP Digital Publishing Awards celebrate excellence in digital publishing across various categories, recognising organisations and individuals that have demonstrated innovation, creativity, and success in the industry.
