About the role
Are you interested in health, food, or content creation, but unsure how to break into the industry?
We’re offering a 3-month paid internship designed for people who are passionate about writing, social media, and healthy living. This program will give you real-world experience in digital content production and online publishing, working with a friendly and experienced team that wants to help you grow.
You don’t need a polished CV or prior experience. What matters most is your enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to learn.
As a Content & Nutrition Intern you will;
- Work closely with our editorial and social media teams to support a variety of content projects
- Research and develop content ideas around nutrition, food, health trends, and wellness
- Update and improve existing articles on healthy eating, meal planning, and food education
- Help write and edit short-form and long-form content
- Assist with basic SEO (search engine optimisation) tasks – don’t worry, we’ll teach you
- Support social video content creation, especially for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Carry out copywriting tasks for social channels like WhatsApp
- Use our CMS (content management system) to upload, format, and schedule content
- Be upskilled in data analysis and reporting on key metrics
- Maintain and update content calendars, article libraries, and publishing logs
- This is a varied role designed to give you exposure to multiple parts of the content lifecycle—from idea to publication to performance tracking
You’ll learn
- How online content is created, edited, and published for a wide audience
- How SEO and analytics shape what gets written and how it’s written
- Social media best practices, including video scripting and caption writing
- Tools like Google Docs, Trello, and WordPress used by professional editorial teams
- How to take ownership of tasks and communicate effectively in a team
- How food and nutrition topics are presented responsibly and accessibly to diverse audiences
By the end of the internship, you’ll have produced real, published work and gained the confidence to apply for entry-level roles in media, health communications, marketing, or journalism.
Requirements
- Have a strong interest in nutrition, health, or food content
- Enjoy writing, storytelling, researching, and being creative (even if just on social media or for yourself)
- Confident with social media (especially Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube)
- Organised and detail-oriented, even with repetitive tasks
- Eager to gain experience in content, editorial, or communications work
- Desire to build your skills and confidence in a supportive environment
Our internships are designed to provide valuable insight into media and are aimed at people from backgrounds that are often underrepresented in our industry. We welcome applicants whose circumstances may have made it harder to access opportunities like this, whether due to financial, social, or other barriers.
Benefits
- A relaxed working environment with regular socials
- Immediate Community webinars, well-being initiatives and Mental Health First aiders
- 25 days holiday annually
- Tailored training and development through our Learning platform
- A progressive and transparent culture with clear career progression
- Flexible / hybrid working plus early finish Fridays

- A newly renovated modern office with lots of collaborative spaces
