People Administrator (up to £30,000)

About the role
As a People Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day People (HR) operations at Immediate. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with best practices.

As a People Administrator you will;
- Support the People Partnering team in administration across the full employee lifecycle – from onboarding and offboarding to contract changes and family leave processes.
- Prepare and issue HR documentation including contracts, offer letters, reference checks, and employee letters.
- Maintain and update our HR system (HiBob) and ensure employee records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist the Reward & People Ops Manager with benefits administration and the annual pay review process.
- Coordinate payroll preparation, working closely with the payroll team to ensure accuracy.
- Manage the HR inbox, responding to employee queries on policies, processes, benefits and systems, and escalating where needed.
- Process purchase orders for People team invoices and liaise with Accounts to ensure smooth processing.
- Carry out and record DBS checks in line with compliance requirements.
- Support people data reporting and analysis to inform decision-making.
- Coordinate HR activities such as inductions, new starter lunches, and volunteering opportunities.
- Contribute to ad-hoc People projects and process improvements that enhance the employee experience.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous administrative experience (ideally within HR)
- Organised and detail-oriented – proud of your accuracy and efficiency
- Proactive and self-motivated – able to manage your workload while knowing when to seek support
- Confident with systems and data – experience with an HRIS or similar tools is a plus
- Discreet and trustworthy – understands the importance of confidentiality in HR
- Clear and effective communicator – both written and verbal
- People-focused – enjoys building relationships and supporting colleagues
- Enthusiastic about HR – keen to work in a progressive, flexible, and fun environment
- Collaborative team player – happy to get involved in a wide variety of projects
