PPC Executive (up to £31,000 plus commission)

About the role

As a data driven PPC Executive, your role will be to take full ownership of our Google Ads campaigns for some of the UK’s most exciting consumer events. This role is all about PPC. Paid search strategy, performance optimisation, and driving real results. While you’ll have the opportunity to shadow or support on paid social campaigns, the core focus is Google Ads and performance marketing.  You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with our Head of Digital and Senior Digital Executive to take full control of PPC strategy and performance.

As a PPC Executive you will;

  • Set up, manage, and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads
  • Build PPC plans that align with business goals
  • Manage budgets, bidding strategies, and day-to-day performance
  • Write and test ad copy with support from brand marketing teams
  • Monitor results and report on performance with clear, actionable insights
  • Create campaign dashboards using Looker Studio (Google Data Studio)
  • Stay up to date with platform changes and best practices
  • Work closely with SEO, web, data, and commercial teams for joined-up campaigns
  • Run A/B tests to improve creative and targeting
  • Track key metrics (e.g. CPC, ROAS, CTR) using GA4 and Google Ads Manager
  • Take ownership of PPC spend, optimising regularly to improve ROI
  • Occasionally support with Paid Social (Meta) campaigns

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience managing PPC Campaigns
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads Manager and GA4
  • Good understanding of targeting strategies, KPI tracking
  • Data-savvy and comfortable building reports
  • Some experience managing campaign spends and reporting on performance metrics like CPM, CPC, CPV
  • Proactive mindset with a love for testing, learning, and iterating
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong copywriting or creative direction skills would be a bonus
