Sales Executive, Advertising (£28,000 plus commission)

About the role

As a Sales Executive, you will help to grow IMDirect print and digital revenue by developing profitable and high-performing long-term partnerships with clients. Although generating new business is expected, leads and accounts will be provided along with full training and support. You’ll be supported by a team that values collaboration, creativity, and learning, with a clear progression path.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career, whether you're a recent graduate or looking to take your first step into media sales. We're looking for a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and thrives in a target-driven environment. As a Sales Executive you will;

  • Proactively sell print and digital advertising solutions across Immediate’s brands, both new and existing
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative selling, understanding client needs, and providing tailored campaign solutions
  • Identify new sales opportunities through lead generation, networking, inbound enquiries, and trade shows
  • Manage your sales pipeline using our tools, to forecast and track your campaigns
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor activity, and client sectors to inform sales strategies
  • Attend meetings and networking events throughout the year, representing Immediate and it’s brands
  • Collaborate with internal departments including marketing, client services, sales planners and production teams to deliver seamless campaign execution

  • Deliver on personal revenue targets and hit weekly targets
  • Respond to briefs with compelling proposals and media plans

Requirements

  • Results driven, you enjoy working towards targets
  • Organised and able to prioritise
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, you can easily build rapport whilst asking the right questions
  • Thinks creatively to problem solve
