The MadeForMums Toy Awards 2026 winners have been revealed, celebrating the toys that captured children’s imaginations, encouraged creativity and kept families coming back for more.

With Gold, Silver, Bronze and Editor’s Choice accolades awarded across 28 categories, this year’s awards recognise everything from baby and toddler toys to interactive companions, construction sets, educational activities, family games and outdoor play equipment.

Unlike awards based solely on editorial-based assessments, the MadeForMums Toy Awards are informed by hands-on testing from parents and children in their own homes. Families spend time playing with each product, helping judges assess its appeal, engagement over time and practicality in everyday family life.

Alongside the full results, MadeForMums has selected its Top 10 toys for Christmas 2026, featuring nine Gold winners and one Editor’s Choice winner, with gifts ranging from £8.99 to £1,339.98.

Among the standout successes was furReal Gabby the Grow & Roar Tiger, which earned an Editor’s Choice award for its engaging interactive features and the connection children developed with their new companion.

The appeal of screen-free creativity was also evident, with Learning Resources STEM Explorers Pixel Art Pro impressing judges through its combination of artistic expression, concentration and problem-solving.

Meanwhile, family games, imaginative play and toys that encourage children to make their own entertainment all feature prominently among this year’s winners.

The judging also highlighted the enduring appeal of simpler toys, with Sophie la girafe earning Joint Gold in the Best Baby Toy category, demonstrating that familiar favourites can still compete alongside the latest interactive innovations.

The MadeForMums Toy Awards place real family experiences at the heart of the judging process, looking beyond packaging, product claims and initial excitement.

This year’s parent and child testers shared feedback on how toys fitted into daily family life, how often children returned to them and which features genuinely made a difference.

From babies repeatedly reaching for their favourite teethers to children developing new creative skills and gaining confidence through active play, the awards showcase toys that offer enjoyment beyond the moment they’re unwrapped.
