Dr Alex George joins forces with NHS GP Dr Chintal Patel for new Good Food Podcast

Thursday 11 June 2026

Good Food announces the launch ofโ€ฏGood Health by Good Food, a brand-new podcast that brings together two doctors on a mission to make health advice clearer, calmer and genuinely useful. Former A&E doctor and mental health advocate, Dr Alex George teams up with NHS GP Dr Chintal Patel to answer the questions we all have about everyday health.

Across the series, Alex and Chintal unpack the big topics that dominate modern wellbeing, from whether all ultra-processed foods are really bad, to why sleep matters more than you think. They explore gut health, brain health and mood, tackle supplements and menopause, and explain what actually works when it comes to healthy, sustainable weight loss.

Each episode will deliver practical, real-life advice designed to cut through the noise.

โ€œThereโ€™s so much health information out there, and it can be overwhelming. This podcast is about bringing clarity and focusing on what genuinely helps in everyday life.โ€

โ€œGood health isnโ€™t about perfect routines – itโ€™s about understanding what matters and making changes that fit real life. In our new podcast, Alex and I will be myth-busting, translating the science, and tackling listener questions with practical advice you can trust.โ€

“Health misinformation online is rife, and we know how confusing it can be to know who to trust. This podcast has been designed to be a natural extension of our Good Health by Good Food social pages to give our audience a deeper way to engage with the topics that matter most to them, discussed by two doctors they can genuinely rely on.”
