Marketing Executive (up to £29,500 per annum)

12-month fixed term contract

About the role

We are looking for a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across our events portfolio.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Marketing Executive, Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Managers, you will help execute multi-channel campaigns that drive visitor attendance, engagement, and revenue. This is a hands-on role that combines content creation, campaign coordination, digital marketing, social media, and stakeholder communication.

You will play an important role in ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and on schedule, while helping to maintain strong audience engagement across digital and live event channels.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Delivery

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing plans to achieve visitor and revenue targets
  • Assist in the execution of integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, PR, partnerships and print
  • Work to campaign timelines and event deadlines, ensuring all activity is delivered accurately and on time

 

Content & Creative Execution

  • Produce high-quality, engaging marketing materials and copy tailored to key audience segments
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all channels
  • Support delivery of event content and features (e.g. talks, workshops, features, exhibitions) within marketing campaigns

 

 

 

Digital & Channel Management

  • Deliver email marketing campaigns (including segmentation and scheduling) in line with campaign strategy
  • Maintain and update event websites, ensuring content accuracy, strong UX, and alignment with campaigns
  • Support implementation of digital activity including SEO/SEM, PPC, and social media

 

Stakeholder & Partner Coordination

  • Support relationships with agencies, media partners, suppliers, sponsors, exhibitors, and industry organisations
  • Assist with sponsorship materials and delivery of sponsor benefits
  • Liaise with exhibitors to maximise participation in marketing activity pre-, during, and post-event

Performance & Reporting

  • Support campaign reporting and ticket sales tracking
  • Monitor marketing performance and audience engagement insights
  • Assist in the preparation of post-event reports and performance summaries

 

Onsite Delivery

  • Support onsite marketing activity, including capturing digital assets, maintaining social media and looking after partners 
  • Ensure smooth execution of marketing-related operations during live events
  • Must be willing and able to work at all events in the portfolio including build up days.

 

 

About You

You are a detail-oriented and proactive marketing professional with strong execution skills and a passion for delivering high-quality campaigns. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively to bring campaigns to life.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing and campaign planning
  • Experience in basic website management
  • Understanding of digital marketing tools and campaigns
  • Understanding of conventional and digital marketing channels
  • Good overall IT skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Able to think creatively and strategically
  • Proactive and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Creative with a practical, delivery-focused approach
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment

  • Enthusiastic about events and audience engagement

Desirable

  • Experience in consumer events or exhibitions
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Adestra or similar email systems
  • Interest in food and/or gardening
