Immediate announces Tamar Riley as Portfolio Managing Director

Immediate, home to trusted brands that people love, have appointed Tamar Riley as Portfolio Managing Director. The newly created role will have overall strategic leadership for Immediateโ€™s Food & Wellness, Knowledge and Entertainment portfolios, including market-leading brands Good Food, Radio Times and HistoryExtra, as well as Immediateโ€™s Central Content Strategy function.

Tamar will work alongside Immediateโ€™s brand leadership teams, as well as Immediateโ€™s product, commercial and technology teams, to develop and implement editorial, commercial and audience growth strategies, as well as new product and revenue opportunities.

With over a decade in senior media leadership roles, Tamar joins Immediate from The Standard, where as CEO sheโ€™s strengthened the brandโ€™s core proposition, whilst accelerating its digital evolution, maximising impact for audiences and clients alike.

Prior to that, as Global Managing Director at Refinery29, she helped the digital entertainment business drive reach and revenues across multiple territories, through IP innovation, digital transformation, and strategic content and distribution partnerships. Tamar has also held senior Audience and Content strategy roles at i-D Magazine and Vice Media.
