Immediate success at the 2025 BSME Awards
Friday 28 November, 2025
Immediate was recognised twice in The British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards 2025, celebrating the work of the best editors, as well as standout art directors, writers and columnists, the best launches and the most eye-catching covers.
Pre-teen Editor, Katherine Andreou won Launch of the Year for Minecraft Magazine, which Immediate launched in November 2024.
The judges said: โIn a highly competitive market, Minecraft Magazine stood out for its energy, expertise and passion for its subject.โ
This is the second consecutive BSME award for Katherine who was named Youth Editor of the Year in last yearโs BSME awards.
Hannah Proud, Senior Art Director for Imagine, Immediateโs creative studio, was Highly Commended in the Branded Content Art Director of the Year category.
The judges praised Hannah for: โA beautiful use of colour and imagery which instantly captivates. Its kind, thoughtful language creates a welcoming tone, making each piece both visually rich and resonant.โ
Britainโs best editors, art directors and columnists were honoured at the prestigious event, known as the Oscars of the magazine world, held by the British Society of Magazine Editors in the Ballroom at Rosewood London.
The annual awards ceremony is the highlight of the BSMEโs calendar, designed to celebrate editorial excellence and innovation across digital and print publications in the UK.
