About the role

We’re looking for a Partnerships and Sales Executive to join our creative and innovative eCommerce central team. You will be working across an exciting portfolio of media brands including Good Food, RadioTimes, BBC Gardeners’ World, MadeForMums and many more. As an established team we are looking for someone to help shape the future of eCommerce at Immediate and grow with our team.

This role is ideal for anyone who has already got some experience in sales and affiliate partnerships or someone interested in starting a career in relationship based selling.

In this role you will help to grow eCommerce revenue by developing profitable and high-performing long-term partnerships with merchants from all of our sectors on a combination of CPA and fixed fee models. Although generating new business is expected,  leads and accounts will be provided along with full training and support.

As a Partnerships & Sales Executive you will:

  • Develop new affiliate partnerships with retailers, either directly or through affiliate agencies and networks.
  • Maintain existing affiliate relationships with retailers, dealing with incoming enquiries and spotting good opportunities for collaboration.
  • Negotiate the best in market CPA or CPC rates with key retailers to reflect the value offered through high quality content and social channels.
  • Maintain and report on weekly pipelines and on campaign performance, with the support of a Project Manager.
  • Essential day to day admin including invoicing, affiliate network and CMS backend management and one-off projects to help support the wider eCommerce team.
  • Attend meetings and networking events throughout the year.
  • Help to grow tenancy revenue through sponsored placements.
  • Responsible for representing Immediate’s eCommerce team to all external stakeholders, including direct advertisers, agencies and affiliate networks.
  • Help us to create and take new products to market as we expand our reach across new channels.

Requirements

  • Action orientated: You’re positive, energetic and you enjoy working hard for an idea you believe in.
  • Organisation and management - You take responsibility for your own pipeline and manage peaks and troughs in your workload. You understand the importance of good communication, both internally and externally.
  • Building Relationships - you can easily build rapport whilst asking the right questions in order to be able to understand the advertisers needs both in the long and short-term
  • Drive Results - you always push yourself and others to deliver the best results and you enjoy working towards targets
  • Creative - you want to work with a fast-pace team and company where innovation is key to our success. You like to think outside of the box and you are not afraid to share your ideas.

Benefits

  • A relaxed working environment with regular socials including a summer festival
  • Immediate Community webinars, well-being initiatives and Mental Health First aiders
  • 25 days holiday plus a day for your birthday. Our offices will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s which are in addition to your annual entitlement
  • Tailored training and development through our Love Learning platform
  • A progressive and transparent culture with clear career progression
  • Flexible / hybrid working plus early finish Fridays
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced Family Policies including paternity, adoption and surrogacy leave. We also provide a pregnancy loss, fertility, and carers policy
  • Competitive pension plans and Life Assurance
  • A newly renovated modern office with lots of collaborative spaces
