Delivery Manager (up to £63,000) 12 month fixed term contract

About the role

As a Delivery Manager, you will take the lead in delivering agreed digital initiatives. You will engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, allocate appropriate resource and time, provide roadmaps, prioritise key projects and set expectations around time frames and delivery. You will be focussed on delivery and work with the team to establish the best working practices.

As a Delivery Manager you will;

  • Document project scope and resource requirements
  • Manage priorities against the available capacity of team members
  • Facilitate daily ‘stand up’ meetings, along with other agile ceremonies
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Set timelines for deliverables
  • Product a quarterly roadmap for your team
  • Lead delivery of your team’s digital initiatives
  • Maintain delivery momentum - manage dependencies and risks
  • Be responsible for updating stakeholders across the business on project progress
  • Create a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture

Requirements

  • 3 + years’ experience as Scrum Master/Delivery Manager
  • Experience of working with design and development teams
  • Experience of multiple delivery management frameworks including a range of agile delivery techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence with using data to inform future decisions and delivery
  • Ability to influence stakeholder and developers alike, utilising key negotiation techniques
  • A Collaborative approach and a ‘go-getting’ attitude
